Frequently Asked Questions
La Scoula Ballet
What do I need to bring?
Please bring all necessary dance wear for your level, a bottle of water, and a parent/guardian if you are under the age of 18.
How many students are in each class?
We strive to keep class sizes small and suitable to the number of teachers. Students per teacher generally range from 6-12, dependent upon level and room capacity.
Do I need previous experience?
To join La Scoula Ballet, previous ballet experience is a must. If you are interested in first year ballet classes, please visit DANCE by Eliese to enroll in ballet classes for your age and level.
I did not study Cecchetti, can I still take class?
At La Scoula Ballet, our primary method of ballet training is the Cecchetti Method. We do not, however, require any students to have experience in this method and welcome all methodologies into the program.
What is the dress code?
Option 1: Pink tights, black leotard, pink ballet shoes

Option 2: Black tights, white or black dance shirt, black ballet shoes

Hair: pinned into a neat ballet bun; kept back out of face and off of neck

*Pink tights help with visibility of muscle contour while in class. Tights worn in performances are set to match the dancer's skin tone as closely as possible.
